Story Sticks

I was inspired by this post I seen the other day on The Crafty Crow. It just so happend that we found 2 sticks on our walk the day before that looked perfect for becoming story sticks. Instead of drawing on them with a sparpie though, I gave my kids some acrylic paints and let them paint there story sticks. Since ther are four kids and 2 really cool sticks, they partnered up to create their sticks. After they were done painting, they wrapped them in ribbons and beads and bells. The older boys skipped the ribbon and used suead string, but that was too tough fot the littles to put beads on. Now we are in anticipation for this weekend to tell stories around the fire with our story sticks.
