New things

Ok, So I realize I really stink at this blogging stuff. I forgot all about it as a matter of fact. But, I resolve to try harder. So anyhow, I have discovered so issues with living in Northern PA and having my sewing room outside in the shed. 1). It is drafty so even a heater doesn't do well for keeping it warm. 2). Cold fingers don't craft well. 3). My vintage Singer that was my mother's dislikes the cold greatly. It my slowing down alot, and I thought I was going to have to take it to the repair shop, but after it was in the house for a while it was up and running like my children( trust me, that's saying alot for it). So alas, the stitching shed is no more. We are nown getting the basement in sewing room shape. It is quite an endeavor, but hopefully will work out for me. I am a displaced sewing mamma. I don't like that one bit. I will take pics of the project so you can see the transformation from nasty old basement to what I hope to be a respectable craft room.

I love watching my little Serenity while the boys are doing thier school work. She was taking a break from playing and sitting waiting patiently for us to be done.

Welcome to my stitching shed

This is my stitching shed, but now that school has begun again, it has been invaded. I love that we have our own space for school and crafting and we don't have to worry about our mess overtaking the house. Now to witerize!!
